    Extremelly good value.

Not one thing failed up to 105k miles. Do the sums.

    Driving

    5 out of 5 5.0

I first bought the car at 28,000 miles. The most noticable thing was how responsive the steering was. Gears are very accurate. Brakes are sharp. A very nice drive. At 105k miles, the suspension has completely changed in a bad way. So buy at low miles.

    Performance

    4 out of 5 4.0

Very nippy. Fuel consupmtion has gone down at high mileage. Again, buy a low mileage if possible.

    Reliability

    5 out of 5 5.0

I had Ford and Vauxhall before. When I got a Nissan, I realised what I was missing. Toyota or Nissan are tops for reliability.

Saloon looks like a totally different car. Saloon looks a lot nicer in my opinion. Hatch lets itself down.

    Comfort

    4 out of 5 4.0

Excelllent if low mileage. A little noisy though. 4000rpm at 80mph.

  • Security and Service

    Security

    3 out of 5 3.0

No alarm (who needs one) but has an immobiliser which makes better sense. Flashing inernal red light, which I guess would deter some.

    Service

    1 out of 5 1.0

Nissan charged me £10 for a wiring repair on a front light, only later to discover from an independant mechanic that the bulb was at fault. Nissan dealer also failed to note a completely failed shock absorber which failed an MOT. What a disgrace.
