Value
Perfect city car or new driver's car! You can pick them up for a song and they are robust like nobody's business, even now.
Costs
Cheap, easy to find parts and close to 40mpg!

On the road
Driving
Very nimble, but soft suspension makes high speed corners (ie: roundabouts) a bit too 'exciting' (screeeeee).
Performance
Excellent acceleration to 30mph. Runs happily up to about 50mph, but beyond that, struggles a bit and gets very noisy - have gotten it to 90 though and it wanted to keep going the last 10 on the speedo!

Reliability
It didn't like wet and/or cold starts much, partially due to dodgy autochoke, but everything else works.

It's an 80s box, but after seeing a boy racer in a tricked out identical model, it must be 'modtro' like the new model ^_^
Comfort
Fine if you're under 6' 2" or so. Well spaced pedals and giant steering wheel! Back seat is tiny, but cargo space is quite good for its size.

If anyone actually wanted to get in, they could open the 'locks' with a withering gaze and a few harsh words.
