Value
Great value used ones around now - mine has depreciated a lot in 2 years though... swings and roundabouts, I suppose.
Costs
Low insurance and tax, excellent fuel economy, no parts other than routine service items needed so far... pretty good I'd say!

On the road
Driving
Goes well and stops well too - best brakes in class. Fairly refined on the open road. Good driving position.
Performance
The 1-litre 16v engine is superb - the best thing about the car in fact. Pulls well even in high gears and can out-accelerate many rivals.

Reliability
Nothing at all gone wrong in 2 years ownership. Everyone will tell you that the Micra is amongst the best for reliability.

Comfort
This is the base 1-litre L model and features are sparse (e.g, no intermittent wipe), but that helps keep the weight down and there is less to go wrong! For a small economy car, there can be no complaints.

Security and Service
Security
Not had any problems, despite no standard alarm/immobiliser. I use a Stoplock Pro and other visible deterrent and don't leave things on display.
