Value
Good overall value. Bought second hand high mileage in early 2002. No major work except headlights problem. Good paintwork.
Costs
Economy tax disc rate low. Servicing with Lookers Nissan no problem (not affiliated). Below average mileage gives good fuel economy.

On the road
Driving
Driver only + one other has good compression about town. Nippy. Visability good. Not confident about cornering at high speeds. Smooth gearbox change but coming out of fifth to fourth can hit reverse if not used to it.
Performance
Good performance. Starts up well. Idling is quiet. Good low speed to high gear ratio. The sixteen valve gives it the extra poke.

Living with it
Reliability
Though maintained in the past. This car has served me well. Economical to run and a good plain old run about town.

Ideal for woman and kids, shopping and occasional trip out of town. Husband can use it too.
Comfort
Tight in the rear seats. For the model its ok. Had to put on a steering wheel cover as steering wheel began to flake. Clutch is light and so is handbrake. No electric windows. Uncomfortable letting passengers in and out. Easy to clean.

Had someone try and break in passenger side entrance. Lock is loose and mangled but can still use the key.
Service
Lookers Nissan Camden are good, reasonable and negotiable. No major trouble yet.
