That i want a faster better looking micra. i'm a budget home mechanic/engineer always looking for automotive improvement.

Its a marmite car.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Definitely. they're easy to work on and are a great platform to start rallying.

Did you get a good deal and why?
Not a good deal at all. previous owned had no mechanical sympathy, and as a result i had to replace a number of worn parts immediately (brake pads, front hub bearings). eventually felt satisfied at level of work required.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Remembered how good they were to learn in.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
The steering feels sound and solid, if light. the engine response is great for this engine size, and you can really make progress down a twisting B-road. the narrowness of the car helps this as well.
What's it like to park?
Easiest thing in the world. the pillars are small, the glass is big.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Nothing has gone wrong with this car. its the most reliable car in the household (along with a vauxhall vectra, mercedes c class and subaru justy).
What's most practical about your car?
The space in the back with the rear seats folded down or removed is huge. managed to fit 3 people, 3 bikes and 2 days of clothes for each.
