Good on the petrol, currently running about 40MPG and thats driving like a lunatic, if I take it easy it does 55+ on long journeys. Servicing was £120 last time.

    Driving

    4 out of 5 4.0

Drives nicely, convienient and very good visibility, except out the rear window when reversing.

    Performance

    4 out of 5 4.0

Fast for a 1.2, had it over 116MPH and it isn't slow from a start. Dies a bit above 70 and guzzles fuel above 80. Steering gets a bit light about 90 tho and wallows in the corners without much effort. Engine = Great, Suspension = Soft

    Reliability

    5 out of 5 5.0

Not a problem, until someone drove into it, but even then only a couple of little rattles that was fixed in 10 min at the local garage. Seat folding mechanism snapped, but has been replaced with stronger one (all new Micras now use it), under warranty.

Pretty funky looking, bit of an old person reputation though. Price is climbing too with its increasing popularity. Still a odd looking Micra.

    Comfort

    4 out of 5 4.0

A million hidden cubby holes, fully adjustable seats and steering, high driving position, CD player even on basic S, good sound system, a ton of boot space. Not much space for rear passengers, seats a little uncomfy on long journeys.

  • Security and Service

    Security

    4 out of 5 4.0

Factroy fitted immobiliser and deadlocks, remote central locking. It isn't the most sporty looking car so what joy rider is gonna steal it?

    Service

    5 out of 5 5.0

Had a little niggle I wanted fixed under warranty, phoned up local nissan garage, was in the next morning and fixed in 20 minutes. Didnt cost a penny. Service was fairly cheap at £120, with similar hassle free nature.
