What does this car say about you?

Shortly after purchase, radio stopped working intermittently, followed by screeching noises from engine, engine over-heating and finally smoke belching out. It got a new starter and ignition, and radio. However the (same) problems remained and escalated, until finally, after another's intervention, I was reluctantly given a replacement car. It was identical. Identical in every way - as it had identical problems ... radio failure, screeching engine over-heating, ventilation failure. And, in this car's case, the added fault of a back window winding itself down regularly. This whole team have been extremely unsympathetic.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

My friend and neighbours wouldn't touch a Micra.

Would you buy this car again and why?

Never. If I were given one free, I wouldn't want to drive it. I believe it to be dangerous. I was always used to doing long drive in my holidays with my car. However, in a Nissan Micra, I would only stretch to local commutes due to horror experience.

Wanted automatic, and it was the cheapest around.

What was the dealer like?

Before purchase - fine.

What's it like to drive?

Due to several bad experiences it is hard to find a positive. When it was not playing up, it was an easy to drive and manoeuvre car.

What's it like to park?

Very easy.

Have you had any problems with the car?

Everything. So much so, that it was replaced (only after someone spoke on my behalf).... by an identical vehicle, with identical problems.

What's most practical about your car?

Easy parking.
