In their own words

A great versatile car, amazing towing ability, given the current age and mileage the car drives extremely well. Well powered and a great alternative to the rival Toyota Landcruiser Amazon which is very good but overpriced given the similarity and ability of other cheaper vehicles. With similar specs, size and quality of build to the Landcruiser, the Nissan Patrol, being cheaper, makes it a clear winner over the Toyota Since owning I have replaced brake discs and pads front and rear, just due to normal wear and tear, also the exhaust system for the same reason, I found quality parts easily online at a very affordable prices, the only failure that has occurred was the alternator, this again was very reasonable at approx £85 for a reconditioned unit. The vehicle has mainly been used for towing a car transporter trailer which, even fully loaded at nearly 3.5 tons , the engine pulls really well with good low end torque and good cruising speed, very stable and brakes well. Electrically all is well, one minor problem was the airbag light came on but was a simple reset and has been faultless now for 3 years. A small leak from the sunroof seal was fixed by dropping the roof lining at the front a little and reconnection of the n/s drain pipe that runs down the inside of the pillar which took approximately 15 minutes. If I have to replace the vehicle in the future it will probably be for a newer lower mileage Nissan Patrol..
