They all liked it. It's a comfortable, practical and nice looking car.

If it wasn't for the new lease prices going through the roof then we would have another one now.

Did you get a good deal and why?

I got the car on a personal lease. I hunted round for ages for the best price and got a very good deal on an SVE with Sat Nav for about £380pm. This was an excellent deal and was organised by my local dealer.

What was the dealer like?

Ames Nissan in Thetford were very good. Even though Nissan Finance could not match my best price they managed to find a local leasing company who could.

What's it like to drive?

For the type of car it is a refined and quiet drive. There's body roll obviously but less than I expected. The leather seats are the most comfortable I've ever had. Tonnes of torque. We went camping in France with the car full to the roof and it sat at speed on the autoroutes with cruise control on whilst going up and down hills without a problem.

What's it like to park?

Not too bad. The boxy shape makes backing into parking spaces fairly easy to judge and the large door mirrors help here too.

Have you had any problems with the car?

The intercooler hose fell off when we were going on holiday. It happened near home and Ames Nissan fixed it at the drop of a hat when I rolled up on a Friday afternoon with a fully loaded car. It had a new turbo under warranty. The Sat Nav screen started to mist up after a couple of years. A new unit was fitted under warranty.

What's most practical about your car?

The car is extremely versatile. A real work horse. We used it for green laning, camping holidays, mountain bike races, long distance trips, tip run van, the lot. The interior is washable and the boot floor can be removed to be hosed down.

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

Auto 4WD. Any weather the car feels rock solid, great off-road too.
