Overpriced when purchased.

No great costs. You'll go through tyres like nobody's business, though.

The most fun car I've ever had the pleasure to drive. Unfortunately, use of a company car means I need to get rid of it, with great reluctance....(weeps).

For 'kicks per pound' the performance is excellent.

Getting on a bit now, but image seriously enhanced when beating Golf GTis away from the lights in a little 106 :o)

Sports-style seats. Cramped in the back (hey, it's a small car!) and little in the way of extras.

Sometimes wouldn't start for a while in the damp, but always did eventually.

May have been the driving style encouraged by the sheer drivability, but front tyres wore quickly.
