  • Summary

    1 out of 5 1.0

What does this car say about you?

I did think classy and unique, until more and more people started buying them. and you see just how silly people look driving in it.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

Wife has hated it from the start, friends tried to talk me out of buying it - wish I'd listened!

Would you buy this car again and why?

No, never, not a chance - its an unreliable nail that peugeot should stop making

What are you likely to buy next?

Something a bit more upmarket, or a Japanese motor for reliability

    November 2005

Did you get a good deal and why?

Was the cheapest by far for a 307cc at the time.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

Thought it was a nice looking car and test-drive was good with the roof down

    What was the dealer like?

Friendly, very helpful and knocked the price down quite a bit.

  • Driving it

    2 out of 5 2.0

    What's it like to drive?

Handling is not the greatest, performance is VERY sluggish for a 2.0 litre. with the roof down you can ALMOST forgive some of it's sins, however owing to the great british weather you end up hating this car a lot more than enjoying driving it.

    What's it like to park?

Absolute nightmare - my car has no parking sensors which really should be fitted as standard. You can't see any of the boot out of the rear window and reverse parking is always based on guess work - hit many a wall or bounced of the car behind before I got used to it which cost me a bumper respray!

  • Living with it

    1 out of 5 1.0

Have you had any problems with the car?

Where do I start? Water ingress in the boot resulted in electrical short which led to the seatbelt pre-tensioners firing off and a blown ECU - £1800 to put right. Roof jammed down and took about a month to fix. The exhaust rusted right through and fell off. Now at recent MOT was told the radiator has a slight leak and the front part of exhaust has deteriorated. All on a car that has done less than 33k miles!!

What's most practical about your car?

The boot is quite large with the roof up.

    Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

folding roof - it still impresses me to watch it being tucked away.
