My daughter, who drives a BMW 3 series, loves my 407 SW and jumps at the chance to drive it.

Yes. Everything about the car is just right for me.

Did you get a good deal and why?
Yes. Got £13000 for Subaru Outback after first being offered £12700. I told the salesman that i thought i would get a better deal at the Honda garage against an Accord diesel.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Have owned 405 diesel & driven 306 & 309 diesels.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Fantastic. I love driving this car. The power is there if its needed and around town its easy to maneuver and keep to speed limits using the cruise control. On a reasent trip to Scotland,that included both motorway & town driving, the car averaged 54.5 mpg. Town & rural driving returns 44 mpg. GREAT!
What's it like to park?
Thanks to the parking sensors parking is not a problem.

Have you had any problems with the car?
Clutch cruise control switch. Replaced under warranty.
What's most practical about your car?
Finger tip controls.

Cruise control.
