In their own words

My first EV and happy I chose the Polestar over a Tesla 3. Test drove both extensively and made my decision based on quality of the Polestar over the Tesla, particularly the interior. Polestar also much more refined at speed, Tesla lots of tyre roar on the motorway, Polestar complete opposite, and superbly refined, virtually no tyre roar at all, just a faint whistle of wind noise at 70, quite remarkable refinement. Truly superb long distance mile eater, great seats and always effortless performance My only criticism would be the ride quality which is definitely on the firm side. Of course a matter of personal preference, but for me, I would have traded off a bit of handling for a bit more comfort. Fine on perfect roads but on our pot hole ridden urban roads, the ride is a bit jittery. The thing weighs over two tons so needs stiff springs which you can feel. Range is ok, running from 90% down to 20% im getting about 200 miles, and on a cheap Octopus Go overnight home charging tariff, the running costs are tiny compared with a petrol car, i'm saving a fortune in fuel. It's a lovely car to be in and drive. Android works brilliantly and so simple to use, lovely big clear icons, all very intuitive to use, why arnt all car interfaces this good ? Seats are excellent, Harmon Kardon stereo pretty good. For anyone considering or not sure about an EV, don't hesitate, get one, the ease and smoothness of the drive still puts a smile on my face even after 5,000 miles Coming from a long line of German cars, I would say the quality of the Polestar is easily a match if not better, perfect shut lines, lovely solid thud when you close the doors and some very interesting interior materials, all top quality without the usual German chintz. This is a very understated car but all the better for that, no tacky overly styled interior details, no tacky carbon fibre trim bits, just discreet very high quality subdued materials, all with a bit Scandinavian chic. Its very Ikea inside ! Get one, you won't be disappointed !
