  • Economy

    Value

    4 out of 5 4.0

It is a company car, so the fact it had a purchase price of nearly £27k was less relevant than the fact that lease costs were affordable, due no doubt to good residuals. Spec level is very good.

    Costs

    3 out of 5 3.0

Fuel consumption ok. Tyre wear horrendous. Residuals good. Repairs expensive (and there have been a few!)

  • On the road

    Driving

    3 out of 5 3.0

A great cruiser. From the driver's perspective, it doesn't compare with a Galaxy (or my previous Sintra for that matter), but you don't pick one as ultimate driving machine!

    Performance

    3 out of 5 3.0

Took time to accelerate, but once it got moving it was fine in normal driving.

  • Living with it

    Reliability

    3 out of 5 3.0

Too many niggly faults; speedo drive, clutch master cylinder, alternator, warning lights, etc, etc, but fundamentally never let me down in 70,000 miles.

    Image

    5 out of 5 5.0

If any people carrier can have a good image, this is it. Kids think it is cool.

    Comfort

    4 out of 5 4.0

Supremely comfortable for everyone, except driver, as driving position could be better.

  • Security and Service

    Security

    4 out of 5 4.0

It was never stolen or broken into so can't really comment. Parcel cover that adopts to 5 or 7 seat layout (an extra) is really useful!

    Service

    4 out of 5 4.0

Dealer (Gordon Lamb, Chesterfield) has been really good - even when faced with some difficult to find problems. Part of issue is that dealers don't see that many of them, so problems are invariably new.

  • Problems and Ownership

    Problems

    Engine

    Other

Electrical gremlins (see above) and clutch master cylinder.
