When did you buy the car?

    June 2009

Did you get a good deal and why?

I paid £800 for a car that only had 76k miles, but was showing signs of corrosion under the driver's side sill and rust around rear wheelarch. I had this proffessionally repaired for £200. It had had a o/s/r quater-panel replaced at some time in the past, and that is why it was rusting badly.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

always liked the looks of the coupe, combined with a nippy but economical 2.0 engine

    What's it like to drive?

i find it very easy to park

Have you had any problems with the car?

The engine was reving erratically between 1 & 2000 rpm on tickover, when i got it. This was attributed to a dirty idle control valve, which my mechanic cleaned, and solved the problem

What's most practical about your car?

a nippy little car that i can still get 39 mpg out of, with reasonably normal driving on the urban cycle. Who needs a diesel?

    Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

cd multichanger and all electric windows plus electric tilt/slide sunroof
