Very low insurance, cheap to pick up.
Costs
Renault dealers expensive. 1.6 has better fuel economy.

Driving
Set up for ease of driving. A lot of power in the power steering. Need a delicate touch on the brakes. I throw it about a bit quite happily.

Famously mentioned on 'I'm Alan Partridge' as "makes passing National Express Coaches a drawn-out process, that's not me, that's Top Gear Magazine!"

No problems at all with it.

Looks ok from certain angles and is a better looker than the newer version in my opinion. Never going to turn any heads though.
Comfort
Quite a lot of space in the back for passengers and a smooth, quiet ride. Radio controls on the steering column are a nice touch and useful.
