OK. Cost £6200 when 2 years old ish. Get a lot of standard equipment, AC and sunroof, CD, Front Fogs, Auto anti-hijack locks, etc!

Not bad. Have had to replace 5 ignition coils in just under 3 years at £50 each, fitted them myself though so saved there.

    Driving

    4 out of 5 4.0

Sports suspension on this model helps keep it flat. Fun on country lanes. I'm not kidding myself here, I know its not a sporty car but for what it is it isn't bad.

    Performance

    5 out of 5 5.0

For what it is (1.6 16v) it outruns anything else out there, including my mates Astra and Fiat Stilo.

  • Living with it

    Reliability

    2 out of 5 2.0

Not great. But all break downs are because of failing ignition coils, so knew what was wrong and carry a spare in the car. Takes a novice like me 5 minutes to fit one.

Bit old personish, but looks ok with factory spoiler and alloys (standard stuff again on this model).

    Comfort

    4 out of 5 4.0

No back ache here. So must be ok. Front driver seat has lumbar adjustment for you to get comfy.

  • Security and Service

    Security

    4 out of 5 4.0

Not had anything stolen from it yet. Standard remote central locking and flashing lights tend to keep people out.

    Service

    1 out of 5 1.0

Appalling! Inchcape in Southampton deserve to be closed down! What Service? Dents and scrapes took an age to sort out when I picked the car up and missing badges (sport one from side) still waiting to be sorted after nearly 3 years!

  • Problems and Ownership

    Problems

    Engine

Ignition Coils (5 times!) bit lumpy at idle but revs freely and performs well.
