Value
Had a number of reliability problems all requiring expensive repairs, so not good value.
Costs
Replacement parts are about average.

Driving
Handles well. Light steering makes easy turning and cornering, relatively good acceleration, brakes good.
Performance
40mpg on average (range 45-33). Currently on 80,000 miles.

Reliability
In the 4 years I've had it, head gasket has blown, exhaust replaced twice and brakes often bind in cold weather.

Has a certain charm the new Megane does not have.
Comfort
Functional. Not much room for rear passengers if front seats right back.

Immobiliser as standard, central locking, no problems so far (fingers crossed).

Have always found Renualt dealers to be VERY overpriced. Go independent if possible.

Head gasket blew at around 60,000 miles. About £700 to replace.
Other
Dashboard trim hides warning and indicator lights for medium to tall drivers. Hazard lights button and rear window heating not easy to access.
