Value
Quite cheap and holds its value. For what you get on the car, major value.
Costs
Excellent MPG (around 40). A tank goes far (420 miles). Insurance middle of the road at group 6.

On the road
Driving
Fun to drive. Can be slightly noisy in 5th at high speed, but you get used to it. Nothing major though. Loved this car until it was written off.
Performance
It goes fast. If you want low cost power, this is it. For an 8v car, it fair takes off and and keeps going!

Living with it
Reliability
Only minor problems. Sometimes it wouldn't start - it ended up being a sensor about £30-£50 to fix. Recycled air used to only operate intermittently. Apart from that, all works fine.

Looks sleek. Slight old man's car look, but once you drive it, that thought leaves you quickly.
Comfort
Comfortable drive - excellent for long trips. Also has lumbar control, so no more sore backs. Plently room in the back. 4/5 adults easily fit in the car.

Security
Only has an immobilser, but does the trick. If your keyfob battery goes flat and you open the door by the lock, don't expect to be going anywhere until you get a new battery.

Never used dealer.
