Regarding head gasket failure, which Rover knew there was a problem with the K series engine, Local Rover dealer had absolutely disgusting attitude

  • Problems and Ownership

    Problems

    Engine

Head gasket failure at 45,000 miles, now needs new engine. Rover seems to have done well on the interior but have cut costs on the engine. If Rover cars are unreliable then Rover will be no more.

    Other

Our local Dealer has admitted that there is a problem with the K series engine customer relations and keeping existing customers happy does not seem to be a priority. Our other car is a Rover 600 but it has Honda engine with no problems to date.
