In their own words

I absolutely adore this car. I had wanted to own a Rover 75 for a long time and so far mine has exceeded all of my expectations. I’m my opinion it’s the best looking car of it’s era, there’s absolutely nothing else that can match its style. It drives beautifully, the 5 speed automatic gearbox is perfectly suited to the car and is incredibly smooth and it handles superbly. I find that the petrol 1.8t has more than enough power and it really did surprise me how quick it actually is, I was also impressed with the fuel economy once achieving 45mpg on a long trip. This car really does make any kind of driving a relaxing experience. The interior is nicely designed with a wonderful walnut dashboard which I love and the seats are incredibly comfortable on long journeys. The quality of the interior is superb and to be honest it feels a cut above any Mercedes I’ve been inside. In terms of reliability there seem to be a lot of myths and misconceptions surrounding the 75. I’m pleased to say I haven’t had any issues whatsoever with mine, it hasn’t in its whole life failed an MOT or even had an advisory other that a cracked windscreen. Personally I think if they’re well maintained these cars are just as reliable as anything else if not more so. In conclusion I absolutely love the Rover 75 and right now they’re very inexpensive to buy and there’s nothing at all I dislike about mine. I currently have a saloon but as I like it so much I’m now thinking of buying a tourer as well.
