  • Summary

    4 out of 5 4.0

What does this car say about you?

As I have private number plates, the car is in such good condition it looks like new and everybody who sees it and especially if they get in thinks I have won the lottery

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

They are all amazed at the level of comfort and the features it has, and it is a dream to drive especially on long journeys, even my son loves driving it and all his mates think it is cool, so I am not sure where the old man image came from, apart from Clarkson.

Would you buy this car again and why?

Yes, great value for money but would ensure I always had a warranty, just in case.

What are you likely to buy next?

Younger version, but still the diesel as the engines are superb.

dealer gave me the highest p/x on my previous car, and a decent warranty

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

seemed a good deal as given high p/x on my previous car

    What was the dealer like?

I dealt with him on the internet first as I live in Devon and he was in Midlands, he sent extra photos of the car, and was very honest, giving me good details, before I viewed it.

  • Driving it

    5 out of 5 5.0

    What's it like to drive?

I know some people think the older CDT is a little under powered and add things to increase the BHP but if your MAF sensor is working well and you are in the right gear for the roads it can really power along, cruising on the motorway is a real joy, like sitting in an armchair

    What's it like to park?

would be a pig if not for the parking sensor, so if you buy one without them it would be worth getting them retro fitted

  • Living with it

    5 out of 5 5.0

Have you had any problems with the car?

A few things have needed sorting out , and I would strongly recommend keeping up a warranty, as these are complicated cars and things are bound to go wrong, I have had to replace MAF sensor, road spring and oil cooler but all under warranty

What's most practical about your car?

Size of the boot, and mpg its a Diesel

    Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

Parking sensors, as it is difficult to see the back when parking, electric rear window blind and ATC climate control, heated seats, memory seats, so many extras for the money.
