Driving
Relaxed is a nice way of putting it. Powerful brakes and direct feel steering. Nice chassis. Superb smoothness and tractability from KV6 lump.
Performance
Quick when you need it to be, handles competently. Viewed critically, it rolls a little but cornering on the limit is not what this car is about.

Build is superb. A couple of tiny problems to be looked at/tweaked next service. Must add that I am very fussy though. Some would not even know problems were there.

I think the car looks absolutely great. Inside and out. Ignorant BMW drivers try and slag it and then remain silent when given a ride! Ha ha.
Comfort
Best interior comfort in its class and the class above it. Others seem austere, dull and bland when you get back in them. Oh so refined. Makes the new 3-Series seem noisy.

People look at it, hopefully the scum will walk straight past it and on to the blue and white badge brigade further up the road!

As always, it depends who works on it on the day. Have made a good contact at my local dealer and now request a technician by name. Fingers crossed.
