  • Economy

    Value

    4 out of 5 4.0

Much cheaper than other premium brands to buy. And since Saab owners tend to keep them a while, depreciation after purchase is probably less of an issue than with many brands.

    Costs

    3 out of 5 3.0

In my experience dealer costs are comparable with other brands, such as Fiat. If dealers are too expensive, try the specialists. Fuel consumption extremes have been 28 to 39mpg. Average is 31mpg. Insurance ok for the performance level.

Not "sporty", but it gives me everything I need.

    Performance

    4 out of 5 4.0

It packs a good mid-range wallop overtaking is easy.

  • Living with it

    Reliability

    5 out of 5 5.0

Perfect. As was the last one (900S).

    Image

    5 out of 5 5.0

To me it says affluent, sensible, practical, not agressive, yet respected due to "Saab Turbo" performance image. A quality car.

    Comfort

    5 out of 5 5.0

Comfy? Oh yes. Good ride, excellent seats and driving position.

  • Security and Service

    Security

    5 out of 5 5.0

No one has tried to steal this or my last one, so it does that mean it's good? Anyway, has immob, alarm and deadlocks in case anyone tries.

    Service

    3 out of 5 3.0

I suspect that someone in Saab City, London, scratched the car and covered it up, but I cannot prove it. Otherwise the other dealers I have used treat you with respect and leave you with a warm feeling.

    Yes

Did you buy from the same manufacturer again?
