  • Summary

    4 out of 5 4.0

What does this car say about you?

    Nowt, its a car.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

Family didn't like it at first but a few trips on the motorway has swung it.

Would you buy this car again and why?

Probably would, it does make a change from the usual german stuff. Look in the For Sale sections, a BMW of this age and spec would cost at least twice the amount of money.

What are you likely to buy next?

mmmm, thats a good one. Possibly a 600cc bike for work or a fast hatch - 16v Golf GTi or 306 GTi6. I can hire cars from work at a stupidly low price so might as well have a laugh when I'm commuting.

    £2,000

When did you buy the car?

    April 2008

Did you get a good deal and why?

It was ok considering the condition and service history

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

    Always liked Saabs

    What was the dealer like?

    N/A

  • Driving it

    4 out of 5 4.0

    What's it like to drive?

It was pants!! Change the rear anti roll bar for a 22mm one and it makes all the difference. The original is pap, it really shouldn't of left the factory like that.

    What's it like to park?

OK, but it is a big car with largish overhangs. Doing your advanced test is cheaper than having the bumpers repaired.

  • Living with it

    4 out of 5 4.0

Have you had any problems with the car?

Turbo blew and cost me £650 less than 1 month after buying it. Apart from that its been normal servicing plus any changes I've specifically put the car in the independants for (APL Saab in Kirkham are brilliant).

What's most practical about your car?

5 door family hatch that is extremely safe for its age.

    Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

The turbo, I do like it when it spools up
