  • Summary

    5 out of 5 5.0

What does this car say about you?

Not really sure: I like quality, I need a family car which is practical but I like something with a bit of 'go' and style.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

My wife loves driving it; friends are impressed with the styling and performance for the price. You're getting something to easily rival a BMW 330d or Audi A6 2.7d for a fraction of the price.

Would you buy this car again and why?

Yes. Fuel economy is approx 45 - 48mpg at a steady 70mph on the motorway. It's lovely to look at (the LED strip lights above the headlights add to the look), comfortable and economical to run.

What are you likely to buy next?

A good chance I'd have another 93TtiD. The only optional extra I miss from my previous vehicle is the integrated blue tooth system.

Type of dealer you bought from?

    Franchise

Did you buy this car new?

    No

    What price did you pay?

    £20,000

When did you buy the car?

    April 2009

Did you get a good deal and why?

Very good deal with a few extras included.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

Looks, performance, dealership, value for money, fuel economy.

    What was the dealer like?

Excellent. I would definitely recommend a visit: Bay Horse Saab, Blackburn.

  • Driving it

    5 out of 5 5.0

    What's it like to drive?

Fantastic. Quite a stiff ride as you would expect with the suspension set-up and tyres. The steering is precise. It's the best car I've ever owned: smooth in traffic but it flies when you put your foot down. Only slight criticism would be there's almost too much power/torque in the wet and you need to respect the throttle as you move away from being stationary.

    What's it like to park?

    Excellent. Rear parking sensors worthwhile.

  • Living with it

Have you had any problems with the car?

No. I've covered 14k miles in 9 months, the majority being motorway. It's superb.

What's most practical about your car?

    Boot size.

    Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

The 'Sport' mode button. It's fun but dangerous! Had 'Supagard' paint protection too. That's proved to be excellent; well worth the money.
