Want to know everything there is to know about this car?

In their own words

Comfortable, fast, spacious, good ergonomics, easy to drive, relatively cheap to buy - there's a lot to like! I'm on my 4th Saab and have had this one 7 years. It's now 10 years old and has done 160k miles and still goes and stops as well as the day I got it. I've had no problems getting parts for it as a lot of the stuff that needs replacing is from the GM parts bin. Saab-specific parts are still readily available through specialists at sensible prices, and there's plenty of advice available in discussion groups to help you any little things that go wrong. Not that I've had many. It's a real shame Saab went out of business.

How reliable do you find the car?

There's a few things that typically go wrong around the 120k mile point, like rear shock absorbers & suspension bushes, crankshaft position sensor and DI cassette. They are all straightforward fixes, though replacing bushes is a bit more labour cost. All the parts are still easily available.

Does the car do everything you expected it to do?

Well it met my expectations, because it was a replacement for my previous 9-5 Aero. Which was a replacement for the previous 9-5 2.3t. Which was a replacement for the previous 9-3.
