Brilliant when compared with Lupo. Undeniably there are now plenty of 'bigger' cars costing less - the Ibiza, for example.

    Costs

Seat seems to be a lot cheaper than VW.

Great fun. Excellent visability. Parking could not be easier.

    Performance

    5 out of 5 5.0

120mph top speed? I doubt that, but it is great in the urban/extra-urban environment.

Unlike our Leon, this has been 100%.

It's a supermini. The BMW Mini looks better but if you want a 'fast' small hatch, worth considering.

    Comfort

    4 out of 5 4.0

Sports seats are fine. Suspension is firm. Not an issue unless you are doing regular long motorway journeys. The boot is a joke but we tend to keep the rear seats down so there is rarely a problem. More rear seat room than one would expect, but no luggage.

  • Security and Service

    Security

    2 out of 5 2.0

Alarm standard. It could be better in comparison with peers.

Seat do seem to be getting a bit more complacent. Maybe the booming new car market means they are not having to try as hard as 3 years ago?

Unlike two Leons we have had, this little Arosa has been perfect. I think it is pricey now in comparison with other models. It would be a snip at £8500. Seat are still asking around £9,300. Not brilliant in comparison with other options - Lupo aside!
