Far cheaper than an identical VW Polo estate, but with air con too.
Costs
55 - 65mpg normal. Independent VW specialist keeps servicing costs down.

Poor on corners. Feels a little nose-heavy. Handles better when half loaded.
Performance
Excellent torque from 90bhp TDi engine in a smallish car. Very good on hills, motorways and especially when overtaking.

Seats lack support on long continental journeys. Sufficient room for four six-footers. Poor ventilation without air con.
