Good value for many compared to similar models, e.g. VW.
Costs
Most second-hand prices are very reasonable.

Driving
Good to drive, a firm ride. Quite noisy at high speeds.
Performance
Great through the low gears, but top out fairly quickly in 4th and 5th. Higher speeds/acceleration inhibited mainly due to air-flow in the engine and the car's exhaust system.

Extremely reliable. No problems what-so-ever - especially on lower mileage models.

Good looks. Aggressive front end and neat rear, especially with a spoiler. A good set of alloy wheels make a real difference.

Good ergonomics, spacious and practical interior.

Models come with central locking as standard and 'coded' windows, light casings etc..

Very quick and friendly, although expensive... if you're a student.
