  • Economy

    Value

    2 out of 5 2.0

Well specced for the class of car and price but evil depreciation.

    Costs

    1 out of 5 1.0

Extremely high, servicing is not unreasonable from a main dealer, but unexpected repairs and parts can be very expensive not to mention hard to find, even the Seat dealer had trouble.

  • On the road

    Driving

    4 out of 5 4.0

Very good for the class, little body roll, you can take corners much smoother and at greater speed with a better line, firm suspension with 16" Alloys.

    Performance

    2 out of 5 2.0

Average enough for a 1.2 the 1.2 in a Fiesta and Corsa are more responsive and much smoother - the 3 cylinder is rough at best.

  • Living with it

    Reliability

    1 out of 5 1.0

Appalling, broken down 4 times in one week, never away from garage, parts very expensive and hard to source, left me stranded 8 times in 7 months - it had to go, replaced with new car.

    Image

    5 out of 5 5.0

Great for the class of car, rare and smart looking, but sporty too!

    Comfort

    2 out of 5 2.0

Harsh crashing ride, but better handling as a result. Fiesta strikes a better more refined balance. Noisy on motorways, not good for 200+ mile journeys.

  • Security and Service

    Security

    5 out of 5 5.0

    Never had it stolen.

    Service

    1 out of 5 1.0

Seat customer service is awful, car had done only 22k miles and just one month after warranty ran out even with full main dealer history the customer service response was "We don't care Sir, it is no longer our problem, we suggest an aftermarket warranty"
