What does this car say about you?

The car doesn't have, "boy racer" plastered over it, with tons of Ibizas on the road it doesnt stand out unless you know what silver mirrors and bigger wheels mean. I generally feel it says I am a driver, not boring and nothing sexier than when my wife drives it and I hear the dump valve :-)

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

Friends that have been in the car were shocked by the power, they said it looked like a standard car yet goes like a rocket. (has chip and 180bhp). A bit plasticky on the inside.

Would you buy this car again and why?

If I could go back and make the choice again then absolutely, a car to make you feel alive.

What are you likely to buy next?

Looking at 1983 911 targa, locost(like caterham) or something else that wants you to enjoy the commute a bit more.

Did you get a good deal and why?

I paid book price, after checking a few different cars this one was perfect and worth the price.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

cheaper than an imprezza but not much slower with chip.

What's it like to drive?

The car doesn't make you drive like a nutter, fairly relaxed everyday driver, but.. If you want to drive fast it has tons of power and is a really good car to drive, only fault is that its 2wd so in 1st and 2nd if you change gear to late there is a lot of wheel spin. Definitely a drivers car with certificates.

What's it like to park?

Hatchback so very easy.

Have you had any problems with the car?

Fuse box melted - 50 quid fix. Clutch at 55,000 miles. Was concerned about buying an Ibiza, I remember the reputation earned from the Ibiza in the 1980's. Porsche did the electrics, so the power windows worked as the rest of the car overheated and broke down....

What's most practical about your car?

If you don't thrash it fuel economy is similar to a mazda 3 1.6 (better than a megane 1.6 automatic)
