Not too bad for this class of car.

Reasonable for a 1.8 but sometimes you felt like you needed more mid range grunt.

Reliability
In 3 years of ownership various problems. 2 replacment dashboard, 2 fuel senders 1 aircon pump (glad I paid for the 4th year warranty) 4 replacment remote key fobs + variouse odds and ends, last one was the air con pump which seat garage had badly fitted.

A comfortable car to drive.

With deadlocks and immobiliser as standard, reasonable security.
Service
Make sure the mecanics know how to fit the bits as was pissed of after the broke the air con pump and only found out when it went to an indipendant garage for a service.
