Skoda Citigo (2012 - 2019) 1.0 MPI (75bhp) Elegance GreenTech 5d Owner Review

In their own words
I dont think i've been as pleasantly surprised by a car as I was my Skoda Citigo, for such a small car it could pretty much do everything. Stop/start city driving to long distance motorway travel, it did it all with ease.
Fuel economy was always 45mpg+ whether I drove like an idiot or a learner. Parts were cheap and the model I had came with free (now £20) tax plus a great mix of optional extras.
Despite the small engine it was stable and quiet on the motorway and overtaking etc wasn't too difficult.
Unfortunately the body control module (BCM) failed on mine after a year which depleted the battery within 24 hours. Fortunately I was able to repair it myself (fitted a used part then coded it in with Hex-V2) for around £200, I was quoted nearly £1000 from a main dealer and specialist but its a fiddly job for an amateur.
The perfect car for city driving, will fit in tight parking spaces without issue. Would also make a great first (or second car).
I recommend this model, just make sure it has all of the relevant service history and if they're not already fitted get some rear wheel arch liners put in.
