I fancied a VW Golf - too fat! I looked at a Polo - too cramped! The Fabia was just right.
Costs
42 mpg and reasonable first service costs. I did have to buy some screen wash.

Handles beautifully.

I tried the 8v & 16v models before buying. The 16v is worth the extra dosh.

All those adjustments - steering column/seat. One of my reasons for purchase. I did consider buying a Mercedes A class but preferred the Skoda.
