Value
£4600 for a 4 year old car in showroom condition with less that 50k miles. Fantastic value.
Costs
MPG is out of this world. Motorway driving is 60-65mpg. Take is easy and you can get over 72mpg!

Handles road ok. Tyres/wheels feel on the narrow side, but that doesn't really affect the ride.
Performance
It's a standard 1.9sdi, so it's not rapid. However, it's not a heavy car so the performance is usable.

Starts first time and feels very healthy at all times.

The badge will always put 'posers' off, but the man with the brains will save £3k by buying a Fabia and not a Golf!
Comfort
Seats quite hard, but the interior is very roomy and the legroom is sufficient. Air con is fantastic.
