What does this car say about you?

The car says I have good taste in cars and I am a proud Skoda owner in all fairness the Czech`s ruined the Skoda reputation but the Germans have gone from skip on wheels to rocket on wheels.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

My family love it and my mates like it some still go on about the badge but to be honest I couldnt care less as i know it is quicker and better than their cars.

Would you buy this car again and why?

Definitely with out a doubt.

What are you likely to buy next?

Maybe the OCTAVIA VRS 1.8 OR THE NEW FABIA VRS IN 2010 OR A SEAT LEON 1.9 TDI 150

Did you get a good deal and why?

I believe I got a good deal car was £6k and part ex my car for £2,750 honda civic 1.7 ctdi nice car but bit of a grandad car as my mates told me. got 12 month warranty and 6 month tax so happy with the deal.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

I read tons of reviews , and after reading how it will beat a boxster and bmw drivers for pace and torque, i realised that this is the must have car. My sister has the elegance version and she has had that for 3 years almost.

What was the dealer like?

The dealer was Fordhams in newmarket they were extremely helpful however they didnt have to do much as i knew what i wanted. I ask to take it for a ride and immediately realised just how blisteringly quick it was 50-70 amazingly quick so i bought it then and there.

What's it like to drive?

Well after having it for a short period it has impressed me and suprised me at the same time. This little pocket rocket is brilliant at cruising and even better at overtaking unfortunately I am a bit of boyracer and in this car it is so easy to make other cars look slow but it is so dangerous in the wrong hands as it will do some serious speed within a few seconds you need to watch the speedo I can see myself getting caught speeding it is so responsive to the throttle. love it to pieces i may only be 21 but i have had 9 cars and this is by far the best the worse was a peugeot 307 hdi d turbo anti pollution fault put it this way I had that came up on the screen and cost me £2,500 and it still wouldn't go away you get that on your pug get rid of it asap you cant get rid of it quick enough

What's it like to park?

I find car to park fairly hard anyway for some reason, the vrs is very easy to park but there are loads of blind spots that the vrs has which can make it difficult in tight spaces.

Have you had any problems with the car?

Well when i first bought it the reverse light had a break in it so it was not working , only one brake light was working aswell. There was loads of water in the car and moisture is not good especially as it cant demist quickly if it has water in it. However took it to a skoda garage Cowley road Vindis Skoda in cambridge and gave it to them for one day and all problems were rectified. good one skoda gear box sometimes stick in reverse and wont came out but skoda said i have to give time for gears to move.

What's most practical about your car?

Well It is a five door and the six gears is very handy. love the funky key fob.

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

The best gadget has to be the trip computer and the six speed gear box.
