In their own words

Good - Decently built and well specified. Quite rapid for a large SUV. Very spacious and some nice design touches like umbrellas in the front doors, torch in the boot area, great storage options. Sounds a bit petty but these touches are very practical. Comfortable and handles well for a big vehicle. Entertainment system and SatNav are good and storage and cubby holes all around the passenger area. Not so good - Apple Car Play quite unreliable but on those occasions when it does work, it's very good. Slightly unusual driving position but still very comfortable. Rather disappointed with dealer and Skoda UK response to discoloring chrome trim around the windows. I'll follow up again once Covid restrictions are over. I'm not a fan of the VW DSG gearbox. I had one on a VW Passat and it was the same. Disconcerting lag from take-off. Once it catches up it's off like a rocket. It's a little like the early Saab 99 turbos. Overall though, this is a very competent vehicle for a sensible price and I'm happy with it.
