What does this car say about you?
I can't afford a new passat estate or a Skoda Yeti.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
I doubt they have noticed. Badge snobs would prefer a worn out Saab I briefly had. People who know about cars prefer the unpretentious Skoda.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes already on my third. The wifes 16 year old Octavia 1.8 SLX hatch in emerald green was bought this year with 26000 miles on. The wifes previous octavia failed mot on emissions and donated fan for my car.
What are you likely to buy next?
If the Octavias last another 2 years we may go for a joint car between myself and wife, a Skoda Yeti.

The price was about right for a 16 year old 38000 mile octavia estate with a good spec.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Low mileage 38000 from new.

A sole trader.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Handles like porridge, but still quiet enough and all the switches work.
What's it like to park?
Easy enough to park but no parking sensors as car is too old for such devices.

Have you had any problems with the car?
Thermostatically controlled fan and control unit.
What's most practical about your car?
The loadspace.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Favourite: DAB radio/usb/CD/speakers I had fitted to replace Skoda radio cassette Least Favourite: car had aftermarket scorpion alarm fitted by previous owner.
