What does this car say about you?

It probably says I like my car to perform and I don't want continual expensive repair bills. I've been able to rely on my Skoda Ocatavia - even when we drove from U.K all the way to Montegro and back several times without a hitch.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

Well, it's not a big fat trendy 4 by 4 or anything but everyone is really impressed that it's still going and looks good and does what it says on the tin!

Would you buy this car again and why?

Oh yes, it's just so reliable and tough.

What are you likely to buy next?

To be honest, fancy a change of style and have been looking at the new Skoda Yetti - voted Best Car 2012 & 2013.

    What's it like to drive?

Great, and even after 12 years it's still got umph when you need it! It's 4 by 4 capacity also copes brilliantly in really bad weather conditions - snow etc!

    What's it like to park?

Pretty good all round vision and no annoying alarms going beep- beep all the time!

  • Living with it

Have you had any problems with the car?

Not a lot! It is now 12 years old and the worst that has happened was that it recently had a hydraulic leak in the power steering and a rear passenger window mechanism broke.. Otherwise just minor stuff like spark plugs.

What's most practical about your car?

Good boot space and comfortable ride- plenty of leg room.

    Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

The rear seats fold flat making a huge boot space. We've moved kids to Uni' and back with ease!
