Did you get a good deal and why?

Yes. Bought tax-free as I was serving overseas at the time.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

Wanted reliable and economical long-distance motoring.

What was the dealer like?

OK although subsequently I discovered that some of their work in preparing the car was questionable.

What's it like to drive?

Good. A relaxing long-distance tourer.

What's it like to park?

Relatively easy - has rear sensors.

Have you had any problems with the car?

Yes. Needed a new flywheel (expensive). Currently the car switches to limp home mode at certain revs and when under load. Needed new drive shaft boot. Headlights are impossible to adjust to correct positions. Needed new rear springs after 5 years. Cruise control needed to be replaced at 3 years. Rear tracking has been out for some time. Take up on DSG is slow when selecting D or R. Rear view mirror rattles.

What's most practical about your car?

Good boot space.

Roof bars.
