Value
On reflection, I believe this particular model was probably overpriced and would need to consider buying a similar Skoda replacement unless considerable discounts were on offer.
Costs
With its three year free servicing this car has cost nothing to service. Fuel consumption is reasonable for the size of car. The car has, however, depreciated quite badly.

On the road
Driving
I enjoy driving this car but the overall driver satisfaction is let down by tyre noise, the feel of the steering wheel material and the lack of a rear window wiper.
Performance
The 20V engine can be quite nippy. The car cruises at 70 to 80 mph with little effort and can find additional power if it is required.

Reliability
I have had no problems or faults with this car and it passed its first MOT with ease.

The "somebody's put a Skoda badge on your car" ads are begining to wear a bit thin.
Comfort
The rear passenger seats too firm and legroom has been sacrificed to provide a large boot.

Security
The car is fitted with an engine immobiliser and the Skoda badge seams to make it less desirable to steal.
