Value
Drops in price like a stone off a tall building.
Costs
Main dealers try to charge VW prices. Excellent while under warranty though.

Driving
Great to drive when not in the garage. Noisy though.
Performance
Drive it hard and it is a lot of fun. Not much at low revs though.

Reliability
Very poor. VW should be ashamed, it was their parts that continually failed. Horners (the dealer) made things worse though.

Still seen as a wannabe car, people turn their heads when they know what you drive.
Comfort
Seats are very hard but that suited me. Poor quality fabric stains easily and the driver's seat collapsed at 30K miles.

Mine was broken into but they wouldn't take the car or the stereo. You would need to pay the thief to loose it.
Service
Not suitable for use as a fleet car, the level of support is not there from the dealers.
