I wasn't going to pay for a Volkswagen, so I could get less equipment for the money

All Very suprised about how Skoda have come on since their pre-vw ownership

Possibly, but with an Automatic gearbox and higher spec tri,

Dealer was very reluctant to budge on list prices and had no offers at the time

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

A Lot of car for the money and with a very promising future for the company

What was the dealer like?

Reasonably freindly but very stubborn on pricing and deals

What's it like to drive?

Now Discontinued 1.6 8v MPI (102BHP) was very fast considering the size and weight of the car. It sounded good and worked hard through the rev range. Gearbox and clutch were pretty slick. Handling was very good

What's it like to park?

Large upward facing glass on rear hatch can make it a bit hard to park at times, as can it's above average size for its class

Have you had any problems with the car?

Rear Wash Wipe failed and started puring water into electronics in the boot

What's most practical about your car?

Large Size
