Sensible fun!

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

They like it. What's this about badge snobs. There aren't any here. My wife's car is a VW and has had loads of problems.

Would you buy this car again and why?

Despite the few problems so far, yes. This is my 4th Skoda, including two Felicias (bought as second cars) and a mark 1 Octavia that clocked up more then 90k in my hands.

A motor home! No kidding.

Did you get a good deal and why?

Yes, bought nearly new with good discount. Included the upgrade of Climate control, 18" wheels, parking sensors, cruise, etc.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

Looked good in race blue

What was the dealer like?

Suprisingly good.

What's it like to drive?

Good to drive. I enjoy taking it out. Fantastic motorway car.

What's it like to park?

Never had parking sensors before. Now I miss them when I drive any other car. So, parking is ok.

Have you had any problems with the car?

Unfortunately, yes. Creak from rear offside that took 2 days to fix and a complete strip out to trace. Then, a creak from the rear nearside solved by replacing a strut on shock absorber. Paintwork seems a little too easy to chip.

What's most practical about your car?

Huge boot. Fantastic mid range punch.

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

Music options are 6 CD changer, CD MP3 player and auxilliary input for personal MP3 player as well.
