Want to know everything there is to know about this car?

In their own words

I really love this car, bought it for £3k which by todays standards of financed Mercs and beamers is pocket change really. I don't see myself upgrading any time soon. My only regret being I wish I got the estate based on the fact I'm a bit of an estate lover but the boot on the hatchback is still huge and im yet to struggle to fit anything in it, this car also had low miles and a good service history so for the money it seemed a no brainer. I've recommended this car before to people and get the usual Jargon about it being a Skoda even after explaining its basically a golf gti in sheeps clothing, but hey, if you want to spend twice the money for the same car with less room be my guest! More skoda for me.

How reliable do you find the car?

The car came with a full dealer service history and 2 cam belt changes, teh last being only 5k miles ago. Issues I've had are the rear parking sensors don't see to work. I suspect they may have been replaced but frankly I've hardly noticed as I've only had sensors on one car before and they just made me a lazy parker. Besides that car has been mechanically sound.

Does the car do everything you expected it to do?

I bought the car after owning a convertible 318ci which was slow and highly impractical, I wanted something with a big boot, plenty of room as well as all the thrills of a hatch hot and its the perfect marriage of the two. This being my most powerful car to date It's been a joy to drive, once you pass the 2.5k revs mark and the turbo starts to kick in its cracking fun to drive. I've seen people in other reviews claim it's not that fun to drive and proceed to lie about the million bhp cars they've driven by comparison byut frankly thats not the point. Despite its larger size its still a hot hatch essentially, if you're after big gains there really isn't much hassle with this car either. The engine is more than capable of going up to 300bhp on the stock turbo (More than enough for myself).
