In their own words

This has been a “superb” family car. It’s great to drive, very comfortable on long journeys, and has a massive boot for trips to furniture shops and family holidays. It is also a bit of a wolf in sheep’s clothing with the 280hp engine and the benefits of 4x4 traction. A proper “Q car” if you like the performance with an unassuming exterior, which makes it surprisingly fun for such a big, practical car. This has been a very reliable car with excellent service from the dealer. I use a local family owned dealership I bought the car from but, from what I’ve read in other reviews, the support from Skoda dealerships in general is consistently excellent. The only minor problem I’ve experienced in 3 years of ownership was a leaking windscreen washer bottle, which was fixed hassle free under warranty. The only thing I’d change would be a slightly firmer standard suspension - but that’s personal preference and the car handles well, is great for motorways and long journeys as well as around town. I personally wouldn’t bother with the adaptive suspension which was an expensive option that I’m glad I didn’t spend the extra money on (again, personal preference). Still very pleased after 3 years of ownership.
