What does this car say about you?

Practical, happy go lucky on a budget.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

Mixture of jealous envy, and 'mocking' but the £30 road tax quickly changes that and parking where they can't.

Would you buy this car again and why?

Yes. Economy and practicality.

Definitely another Smart when the time comes.

Did you get a good deal and why?

Very good on price, service plus as the car was out of 2 year warranty they included 2 year top grade RAC warranty as most cars have 3 year warranty plus effectively 1 year warranty after purchase. Car in excellent condition but still valeted.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

Wanted economical run about for self.

What was the dealer like?

Excellent. Unfortunately Autoplanet at Maidstone has now ceased to trade.

What's it like to drive?

Very positive, very nippy and semi auto gear box is faultless. Smooth ride on good roads tends to be a bit 'choopy' and harsh on poorly maintained roads.

What's it like to park?

Fine, except rear corner blind spotsare not good especially considering the car is so small. Would benefit from power assisted steering but not really a problem. Option to get in spaces others can't.

Have you had any problems with the car?

Had two small problems, one a leak on the back screen, and two the back screen failing to lock. Both quickly remedied.

What's most practical about your car?

Compact size and very useful boot size. large doors and high seat position.

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

Actually the lack of fangled gadgets - partners VW has too many sensory gadgets which do not always function 100%. Like the high seating position which I have been used to with Freelander and Golf Plus.
