SsangYong Turismo (2013 - 2019) 2.2 SE 5d Owner Review

Want to know everything there is to know about this car?

In their own words

Bought as a pre-reg with 100mi on clock. It's MASSIVE which is the main reason we bought it as we do a lot of holidays by car in Europe. The only other 7 seaters that can also accommodate everyone's luggage are van conversions for at least 50% more money. It's very comfortable and encourages smooth, controlled driving. Thankfully it drives like a car, not a van - the power band is nice and wide in each gear. We don't tow but if you might want to, be assured this car has VAST amounts of torque - it doesn't seem to notice having 6 adult passengers and a baby with all his gear on board. Negatives if you can call them that: The climate control is obsessed with turning the a/c on, so more often than not I have it on a manual setting. The owner's manual is written in a very odd form of English. The tyre size is a bit unusual which is causing some difficulties finding appropriate winter tyres. And yes it is thirsty, but no more so than equivalents from larger manufacturers.

How reliable do you find the car?

Climate control would not direct air to windscreen. Fixed in 1 day under warranty.
