What does this car say about you?

4 door says CHAV so got a 5 door which was fairly low key. Not sure what it says but probably not good.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

Weren't impressed by the deep rumble of the exhaust. Viewed with suspicion I guess.

Would you buy this car again and why?

Yes. 114k miles and still pulling like a train. Reliable, fast and bags of character. Evo's may be better in many ways but they can't match the Impreza's ride and flat4 warble which adds so much to the character

What are you likely to buy next?

Decided to grow up and bought an MPV! Since moved on to a 4x4 but craving my Scooby again! Currently looking for one as a second/weekend car.

What's it like to drive?

Excellent. Handling on B roads second to none. With 280bhp (slightly modified) it was not the fastest car on the road but on the twisty, bumpy B roads nothing could touch it. The suspension just soaks up the bumps without unsettling the car. Turn in good and power out the bends brilliant. Steering feel good but standard brakes rubbish!

What's it like to park?

Fair. You sit low in the car so visibility not great. Mine had park sensors.

Have you had any problems with the car?

Super reliabile. Running higher boost for a few years before I bought it, being driven 'enthusiastically', still managed to clock up 114k without any engine issues.

What's most practical about your car?

The 5 door gives a little extra room over the 4 door but still no better than your average hatchback
